Represented a leading digital marketing company in connection with an AAA arbitration brought against it related to an Asset Purchase Agreement.
Represented a global construction company in a multi-billion dollar international arbitration before the ICC related to construction of one of the largest oil and gas refineries in South America, valued at US$8 billion.
Represented a global process technology licensor, designer, and supplier in connection with a pair of disputes involving certain security instruments, each securing advance payments for the supply of certain equipment.
Challenge ex parte prejudgment Rule B maritime attachment of funds in the Eastern District of Virginia sought as security in matter between client and a third party fuel supplier.
Successfully negotiated settlement on behalf of a prominent NBA player in dispute with photographer and videographer.
Representation of a Chinese manufacturer and investment fund seeking to recoup monies improperly diverted by business partner as part of a years-long accounting fraud scheme in both AAA arbitrations and on issues of first impression in US Bankruptcy Court.
Representation of topical drug developer and manufacturer in a AAA arbitration against claims of misappropriation of trade secrets (drug formulation), breach of confidentiality, and loss of profits because of delayed FDA approval.
Representation of a medical device manufacturer in New York litigation arising out of alleged oral agreements to grant stock options.
Representation of venture capital shareholders in breach of contract and declaratory judgment action filed in New York (Commercial Division) against a major generic drug manufacturer arising out of the manufacturer’s failure to make certain milestone payments due under a merger agreement. Survived multiple motions to dismiss and ultimately successfully resolved matter.
Representation of cable TV advertising service provider in an ad hoc arbitration dispute arising out of breach of licensing agreement with multichannel programming distributor partner.
Representation of manufacturer and wholesaler of branded apparel in New York federal and state court litigations arising out of the breach of a licensing agreement, including claims of copyright and trademark infringement.
Conducted numerous internal investigations for a New York City-based charter school related to discrimination, employee discipline, and compliance with school charter and state regulations.
