"People will stare. Make it worth their while." - Harry Winston

Welcome to our latest edition of Fashion Law.

In this edition we look at the steps the New South Wales and Australian Governments are taking to tackle modern slavery. Australian businesses need to understand what is required under the new laws, and get prepared to report on their supply chains.

We also take a look at a New Zealand trade mark opposition, superannuation requirements and a look at the international markets and the importance of managing and protecting your brand and designs beyond Australia's borders. Finally, we look at the changes in Australian parallel importation laws, which relate to the importation of genuine products by parties that are not authorised by brand owners.
