Harry Nicolaidis

Harry Nicolaidis focuses on major litigation and dispute resolution matters. He has experience in contract disputes, equitable claims, leasing disputes, trade practices claims, corporate risk, claims management advice, indemnity disputes, and business interruption loss claims. Harry is also experienced in asbestos related claims, professional indemnity disputes, breach of fiduciary duties actions and unconscionable conduct claims.

Harry has represented public and private corporations and private individuals across a range of industries including property, construction, manufacturing, mining, insurance, finance, the public sector, retail, hospitality, and not for profit organisations. Specifically, he has represented a major national property trust, a major national bank, a government owned corporation, a major mining company, construction companies, and various property developers.

Harry also assists health practitioners and dental practice owners regarding risk minimisation strategies relevant to contracting with providers of professional and non-professional services. This includes, in particular, advice on Services and Facilities Agreements as well as the operation and enforceability of restraint of trade obligations. He also advises health professionals on disputes arising from the sale of practices, including breach of confidentiality and breach of warranty claims.

Harry has practised in New South Wales and Queensland in State and Federal Courts for more than 30 years. He has significant experience in employing various methods of alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation, and facilitated negotiation in order to achieve commercial and cost effective outcomes for clients.

Harry is ranked as one of Australia's leading Alternative Dispute Resolution and Litigation lawyers by Best Lawyers since 2019, a widely respected peer review publication in the legal profession.
