Michelle Glasky Bergman, Ph.D.

Dr. Michelle Glasky Bergman is a patent agent in the firm’s Orange County office and works with attorneys and clients in the creation and maintenance of IP portfolios including domestic and international patent prosecution and portfolio management and manages client relationships across technologies. Dr. Michelle represents independent inventors, small companies, and large publically-traded companies in the intellectual property field.

Dr. Michelle has extensive experience in a wide breadth of technologies including small molecules and biologics for the therapy, prevention and diagnosis of disease, vaccines, biotechnology, diagnostics, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and regenerative stem cell technologies.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Dr. Michelle was an executive at a publicly-traded pharmaceutical company managing preclinical and clinical research as well as managing a robust patent portfolio and has extensive experience working on the scientific and managerial sides of the life sciences industry. Dr. Michelle also managed an academic laboratory and associated million dollar small business for a university professor.
