Tyler G. Anders

Tyler Anders is an associate at the firm's Nashville office. He is a member of the Commercial Disputes and Data Protection, Privacy, and Security practice groups.

Tyler works with clients on issues involving data privacy regulations and data breach incidents. He provides pre-incident response training and counseling in addition to post-incident response work for clients experiencing data security incidents, including, but not limited to, ransomware and business email compromises. He advises on post-incident notice obligations to state and federal regulators in accordance with state data breach notice statutes, federal statutes, and/or specific contractual obligations. Tyler also has experience assisting clients with regulatory investigations from state and federal regulators. He also counsels clients in responding to other digital crises, from online defamation and harassment to infringement.

His practice also covers business litigation across diverse sectors in federal and state courts and in private arbitrations, including internationally before the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

Tyler maintains an active pro bono practice, including assisting with adoption proceedings in Tennessee and working with the California Innocence Project.

Previously, Tyler served as a summer associate for the firm in 2018. He was also a judicial extern to the Honorable André Birotte Jr. of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Tyler is a 2011 Teach for America Washington, D.C. Corps alumnus.
