  • In 2013, K&L Gates was selected as “Law Firm of the Year” by Mergers & Acquisitions magazine, as part of its annual M&A Mid-Market Awards. This prestigious award recognized K&L Gates for its strong performance in 2012 and its global approach to middle market mergers and acquisitions, as well the firm's continued growth into new international markets.
  • Corporate Board Member Magazine, in association with FTI Consulting, Inc., ranked K&L Gates as one of the top 25 law firms in its 2012 list of “America’s Best Corporate Law Firms.” Based on a survey of nearly 2,000 general counsel of U.S. publicly held companies, the rankings focused on those law firms that survey respondents said they would engage in a variety of important legal subject matters. 
  • In 2013, K&L Gates was ranked for a second consecutive year among the top 25 law firm brands in the United States, moving up four places to rank 15th overall, according to the U.S. Law Firm Brand Index Report published by leading market research company Acritas. The report, which was compiled from unprompted responses of more than 800 general counsel of major companies, was prominently noted in The American Lawyer's The Am Law Daily
  • The 2013 BTI Consulting Group survey of corporate counsel (covering 650 law firms) included the firm in its “BTI Client Service 30,” an elite ranking that recognizes the leading law firms in driving superior client relationships according to general counsel.
  • The 2013 U.S. News-Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” survey awarded K&L Gates more than 200 first-tier rankings, including 33 national practice rankings and 169 metropolitan rankings in 19 locations, marking the third consecutive year that K&L Gates has been ranked among the top two law firms with the most first-tier rankings, as well as receiving the publication’s national “Law Firm of the Year” distinction for Environmental Law.
  • In 2011 and 2012, Law360 included the firm within its “Global 20” as one of the “20 law firms with the greatest global reach and expertise.”
  • The October 2010 issue of The American Lawyer ranked K&L Gates first among the “Global 100” in the Recession Performance Index, which measures compound annual growth rate from 2007 to 2009 of revenue, revenue per lawyer, profits per partner, and lawyer headcount.
