The BTI Consulting Group further reinforced the firm’s commitment to clients by naming K&L Gates one of the top 10 law firms in client service in its 2016 Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance, marking the second consecutive year in the top 10 and the fourth consecutive year our firm was included in the “BTI Client Service 30.” An annual survey comparing more than 600 leading law firms which serve Global 500, Fortune 1000 and other large clients, the Client Service 30 is an elite ranking recognizing law firms that distinguish themselves as the absolute best for client service. It is based upon unprompted feedback from clients who identify, by name, the firm they view as the best in various client service activities.

We support our lawyers with an array of services aimed at increasing the value we provide our clients. For example, our firm wide marketing and business development team, led by our Chief Marketing Officer, works with our practices and offices to develop and implement integrated programs and targeted activities, such as client feedback programs and internal client service teams that help ensure the retention of existing clients and enable the steady growth of new business.

Our marketing team also collaborates with K&L Gates recruitment professionals to enhance our outreach to law students and lateral associate and partner candidates, with our Pro Bono Committee to facilitate continued growth of the firm’s efforts in that area, and with our Diversity Committee and Women in the Profession Committee to assure outreach to a diverse professional population. Additionally we recognize that, as is the case with substantive legal skills, lawyers benefit from education and training in client development, and we offer opportunities for our lawyers to develop and enhance their skills in this vital area.
