Abram I. Moore is a partner in the Doha, Qatar and Chicago, Illinois offices of K&L Gates whose practice is focused on the resolution of complex commercial disputes. Mr. Moore has experience in the litigation, arbitration and mediation of all manner of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, commercial fraud, intra-corporate conflicts, construction disputes, and entertainment and media disputes. He understands that his clients’ business must always be at the forefront of any dispute resolution strategy and focuses on communicating and achieving specific business objectives for his clients. Mr. Moore has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction and real estate, media and entertainment, supply and distribution, and banking and finance. He has resolved lawsuits and other disputes successfully on behalf of clients from around the world.
In addition to commercial disputes, Mr. Moore has significant experience representing individual clients relating to disputes over cryopreserved pre-embryos. Mr. Moore was counsel in a groundbreaking case in Illinois on the subject, and convinced the Illinois Appellate Court to adopt his client’s preferred legal standard. He has since counseled clients across the US regarding their rights in such disputes and been interviewed by publications from around the world on the subject.
