Mr. Holofchak focuses his practice on the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of commercial properties.  He regularly advises developers and investors on complex retail, office and mixed-use real estate transactions.  Additionally, he regularly advises health care systems and investors on health care-related real estate transactions.

Mr. Holofchak is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED-AP), a distinction he earned through the Green Building Certification Institute. As a LEED-AP, he has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles, as well as the LEED Rating System.

  • Advised a foreign investor on the acquisition of over 1,300 acres in South Carolina for development as an inter-modal distribution and logistics hub.
  • Advised a retail developer on the acquisition, development, financing and leasing of four regional shopping centers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia comprising a total of over 250 acres and two million square feet of space.
  • Advised a publicly-traded specialty mall development REIT on the sale and leasing of peripheral mall parcels in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
  • Advised a private real estate investment fund on the acquisition and financing of numerous office buildings.
  • Advised a marina developer, owner and operator on the acquisition and financing of marina facilities in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.
