Mr. Evans is a partner in the Charlotte office. His practice concentrates on representation of developers in the creation and maintenance of mixed-use and other planned developments, retail development, and representation of commercial banks and other institutional lenders in the evaluation of real estate collateral in anticipation of foreclosure, and management and disposition of foreclosed real estate, particularly large residential and mixed use developments. He has substantial experience in condominium and planned community structure and documentation, and with the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. He also has voluminous experience over decades of practice with complex title and survey matters, including analysis of declaration and association structures, and negotiation of title insurance coverages.
