Callum is a corporate and commercial lawyer in the Energy, Infrastructure and Resources practice area.

In addition to regulatory compliance and general corporate advisory work, Callum has experience in business and asset sales and acquisitions, fundraising, off market takeover and corporate governance work. Callum has also drafted and negotiated a broad range of commercial agreements, such as share and asset sale agreements, master service and supply agreements, venue hire agreements, subcontracting agreements, subscription agreements and shareholder agreements.

Callum is also active in the sports industry, representing athletes in relation to anti-doping allegations and providing sporting bodies with corporate governance advice.

  • Advising Waratah International (Asia) Limited on all aspects of its successful acquisition of ASX-listed Amex Resources Limited by way of an off-market takeover bid. 
  • Advising DRA Group Holdings Proprietary Limited (South Africa) on its AUD31 million acquisition of Minnovo Pty Ltd. 
  • Advising Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited on its acquisition of the Heyday5 Group for an enterprise value of up to AUD54.1 million.
  • Advising EHR Resources Limited (formerly Cott Oil and Gas Limited) on its ASX re-compliance listing and capital raising following its entry into a farm in agreement with Canadian company, Eloro Resources Limited, to acquire up to a 25% interest in the La Victoria gold and silver project in Peru. 
  • Advising Pilbara Minerals Limited on the AUD15 million acquisition of the Lynas Find Lithium Project. 
  • Advising Port to Pub Pty Ltd in relation to the hosting of the Hotel Rottnest Port to Pub open water swim. 
  • Providing general corporate governance advice to various incorporated associations. 
  • Representing athletes in relation to anti-doping allegations. 
  • Drafting deeds of settlements for various contractual disputes.
