Christopher F. Warner

Chris Warner is an associate in the White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group. His practice focuses on government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, internal investigations, white-collar defense, and complex civil litigation matters.

Chris represents individuals and corporations before various federal regulators and enforcement authorities, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Through these investigations, Chris has gained experience with a variety of state and federal laws, including the FCPA, FDCA, and numerous securities laws. His experience includes subpoena responses, witness interview and testimony preparation, and presentations to the government on the client’s behalf. 

Chris has also represented clients in international arbitration matters, consumer finance disputes, and commercial litigation cases. Chris has experience with the many different phases of commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, dispositive motion practice, and settlement negotiations. 

Chris maintains an active pro bono practice, helping individuals obtain legal status in the United States. 

Christopher Warner previously served as a summer associate at the firm where he completed numerous legal research and writing assignments for various practice groups within the firm. He also drafted two motions to dismiss, a motion for summary judgment, and several memoranda in response to particular legal issues. In addition, Christopher was a legal intern for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and worked on numerous criminal matters. Christopher also served as a legal intern for the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor, IV of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
