M. Claire Flowers

Claire Flowers is an associate at the firm’s Charleston office where she is a member of the labor, employment and workplace safety practice group. Her practice focuses on counseling employers on the full spectrum of legal issues that can arise within the workplace. Ms. Flowers’ experience includes drafting motions and aiding in discovery for complex commercial litigation matters, as well as assisting with employment discrimination cases defending the interests of the employer. In addition, she provides company handbooks revisions to better protect employers from liability by having legally compliant policies in place.

Professional Background

Ms. Flowers previously served as a summer associate at the firm where she worked with multiple practice groups including corporate, real estate, and litigation. She has experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing memoranda for an anticipated appellate litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Flowers served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Rebecca B. Connelly in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia.
