Denise Yasinow is an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office and is part of the Insurance Coverage, Commercial Disputes, and Construction practice groups. She has worked on multimillion dollar insurance coverage disputes involving long tail liabilities related to asbestos-containing products and former manufactured gas plant sites. She has also worked on disputes involving the construction of gas turbine and coal fired power plants and a statewide telecommunications system. Ms. Yasinow has dedicated herself to numerous pro bono matters, including currently representing a prisoner in a § 1983 action arising from the use of excessive force.

Professional Background

Ms. Yasinow was a summer associate at K&L Gates for two consecutive years and is currently a fourth-year associate in the Pittsburgh office. She recently presented an insurance coverage CLE with partner Kay Brady entitled “Settlement Considerations in Light of Developing Case Law.”
