Dora Georgescu is a litigation associate whose practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. Ms. Georgescu has briefed and argued a Fourteenth Amendment claim before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and first-chaired depositions in an election law case in the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Georgescu also maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented individuals in immigration, family, criminal, and civil rights matters.


Professional Background

Since 2017, Ms. Georgescu has been an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law, where she teaches law students evidence, trial procedure, and case strategy in preparation for regional and national trial advocacy competitions.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Georgescu interned for the Honorable Chester J. Straub of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and for the Honorable Richard Lee Price of the New York State Supreme Court, Bronx Criminal Term. Additionally, Ms. Georgescu was a summer associate in the firm’s New York office in 2014.
