Ms O'Hara joined K&L Gates as a summer clerk and then as a graduate gaining experience in our Corporate, Real Estate and Labour, Employment and Workplace Safety practice areas. 
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms O'Hara worked at a boutique employment law firm.

  • Advising clients on sales and acquisitions in conveyancing transactions and advising on other real property dealings.
  • Advising on the renewal of strata schemes. 
  • Advising Sydney Airport in relation to ride-share and parking infringement notice arrangements. 
Real Estate Development
  • Assisting Lendlease with the subdivision and development of various sites comprising part of the Darling Square within the Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct at Darling Harbour, including the mixed use SW Plot, NE Plot and SE Plot at Darling Square, each comprising three residential towers and a retail stratum.
Property Acquisitions and Disposals
  • Assisting with the development and sale of 'The Exchange', a mixed and civic use 'place making' building in the heart of Lendlease’s Darling Square urban renewal development precinct in Darling Harbour, Sydney. The building has been nominated as a finalist in the Property Council of Australia's 2019 Innovation & Excellence Awards.
  • Assisting Lendlease with a staged acquisition strategy for the acquisition of strata lots in a Sydney CBD commercial office building. 
  • Assisting Real I.S. with several Request's for Proposal to provide leased office space to the Government Departments.
  • Assisting MEAG (a German Asset Management company) with a Leasing Management Agreement and Property Management Agreement in relation to a refurbishment and leasing project for an office building in Sydney's CBD. 
  • Advising NSW Ports on its industrial leasing arrangements as landlord at Port Botany.
Infrastructure and Resources Transactions
  • Assisting RATCH-Australia Corporation Limited on all property related matters in relation to the successful financial close of the AUD360 million, 226MW Collector Wind Farm.
