Perrin Q. Dargan, III

Perrin Dargan is senior of counsel in the firm’s Charleston office and practices in the areas of environmental and construction law. His environmental practice includes representation of clients in the acquisition, sale, and redevelopment of contaminated property, permitting industrial and manufacturing facilities, general and coastal zone land use, wetlands issues, permitting industrial and manufacturing facilities, and general environmental compliance. His construction practice includes representation of industrial and commercial property developers, contractors and architectural and engineering designers.

He has served as counsel to large-scale brownfield developers around the southeast, outside counsel to the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control on CERCLA litigation matters and outside counsel to the South Carolina Coastal Council (now known as SC DHEC Office of Coastal Resource Management), including in connection with the landmark case of Lucas v. South Carolina Coastal Council.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Perrin practiced at another firm in South Carolina.
