Daniel Kelly-Stallings is an associate in the firm’s Seattle office. He practices in the areas of environmental law, commercial litigation, trusts & estates, and constitutional issues. He is actively involved in issues related to energy and infrastructure, environmental permitting and regulatory advice, water rights, forest practices, agriculture, railroads, cleanup of contaminated sites, and wildlife management.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Kelly-Stallings was a law clerk to the Honorable James L. Robart of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. In this role he researched and drafted memoranda and opinions on a wide variety of civil and criminal matters, including substantial experience with commercial disputes, trials, class action litigation, insurance matters, discovery motions, dispositive motions, intellectual property disputes, and securities litigation. Before that, Mr. Kelly-Stallings served as a law clerk to Justice Charlie Wiggins of the Washington State Supreme Court, where he worked on all aspects of state-level civil and criminal appeals. He has worked for the Washington attorney general’s office and the governor’s office as well.
