Ms. Nagle focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, serving as counsel for companies involved in disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country. Her procedural and substantive experience crosses industries and legal practice areas. Ms. Nagle has assisted companies with litigation and associated risk assessment at various stages of the business lifecycle, including litigation concerning business deals/contracts, employment and quasi-employment relationships, trade secrets, trademarks and other intellectual property rights, product liability, and federal and state consumer protection issues, among others. She handles all aspects of litigation including injunction hearings, motion practice, discovery (including complex electronic discovery), evidentiary hearings, bench and jury trials, and post-trial practice. In addition, she assists clients with early resolution efforts, settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations (domestic and international). Ms. Nagle works with her clients to develop litigation strategies that balance advocacy and pragmatism, with a focus on achieving the best end result for the business.

Ms. Nagle has substantial expertise in class action defense, regularly defending companies in class actions across the country. She regularly manages complex class discovery, class certification motion practice, and class action settlements. Through her class action practice in particular, Ms. Nagle is well versed in complex discovery, including extensive fact-finding and interviews, written discovery, deposition practice, and the management of the preservation, collection, and production of electronically stored information.

Ms. Nagle also has extensive experience representing financial services institutions and other business entities in suits under various federal consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act ("RESPA"), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (“ECOA”), as well as in suits alleging unfair and deceptive practices claims under state consumer protection statutes such as Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 93A.

Ms. Nagle is a member of the firmwide Women in the Profession Committee, as well as the chairperson of the Women in the Profession group in the firm’s Boston office.
