Mr. Minter is a lawyer in our Commercial Disputes team, practising in the areas of insurance litigation and personal injury law.

Mr. Minter represents hospitals, health care providers, statutory bodies, government departments, other state entities and community service organisations in the defence of claims, including medical negligence, public liability and other claims, ranging from smaller claims to catastrophic injuries. He has also represents our clients at coronial investigations and inquests.

Professional Background

Mr. Minter joined K&L Gates as a graduate in 2017 and completed rotations in the Commercial Disputes, Real Estate and Insolvency/Restructuring teams.

Prior to starting at K&L Gates, Mr. Minter worked as a paralegal in the construction litigation practice group of an international law firm and volunteered at Victoria Legal Aid in their infringements clinic.

  • Representing non-employers in relation to public liability claims and s 138 recovery actions by the VWA.
  • Referring impairment assessments to the Victorian Medical Panel.
  • Acting for public health care organisations in respect of claims for breach of privacy.
