Lacey Gehm is an associate in the investigations, enforcement, and white collar group in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on securities enforcement and litigation, including class action and shareholder derivative lawsuits, and regulatory actions.

Ms. Gehm also represents investment advisers, broker-dealers, individuals, and companies in connection with regulatory examinations, investigations, and proceedings conducted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Consumer Financial Protection Board (CFPB), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and other government agencies and regulators.

In addition, she is also involved in various pro bono matters at K&L Gates, including advocating for veterans who have been denied disability benefits, screening cases for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, and representing children seeking asylum.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Gehm was an enforcement division honors intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. While in law school, Ms. Gehm spent a semester participating in the Securities, Arbitration and Consumer Law Clinic, where she assisted small investors and other consumers with problems in the financial and consumer markets.
