Lanette Suarez is an associate at the firm’s Miami office. She is a member of the complex commercial litigation and disputes practice group.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Suarez served as a litigation associate at a large U.S. law firm. She represented a variety of corporate employers in employment claims and labor relations counseling, as well as litigation in Florida state and federal courts on matters relating to Title VII discrimination, harassment and retaliation, FMLA, FLSA, and contractual disputes. In addition, she conducted legal research focusing on state and federal employment regulations, agency law, and corporate governance issues. Ms. Suarez also gained experience by serving as a judicial intern for the Hon. Jose E. Martinez in the Southern District of Florida.

Prior to joining law school, Ms. Suarez was a 2012 Teach for America Corps Member where she taught kindergarten in Miami.
