Ms. Kulkarni is a litigation lawyer practicing in the areas of medical defence litigation, coronial inquests, recovery actions, health privacy matters and general civil claims including personal injury litigation.

Ms. Kulkarni represents hospitals, health care providers and other state entities in defence of medical negligence claims, ranging from smaller claims to catastrophic injuries. She has acted for clients in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, County Court of Victoria, Supreme Court of Victoria and Coroners Court of Victoria.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Kulkarni was Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Jack Forrest, Principal Judge of the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2016 and early 2017.

Ms. Kulkarni completed her graduate year at a global top-tier law firm in 2014 and 2015, rotating through commercial litigation, trade marks and the corporate head office advisory team.
