Francisco focuses his practice on the formation, venture financing and general corporate counseling of startup and growth-stage companies. Francisco works extensively with technology companies, including international startups seeking financing in the U.S.

During the last two years, Francisco has closed more than 50 venture capital deals representing different Seattle-based venture capital investors.

Francisco also regularly advises Spanish and Latin American companies operating in the United States.

Professional Background

Francisco is fluent in Spanish. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Olmedo practiced for a leading Spanish law firm in Madrid where he represented international public and private companies in a range of transactional matters.
