Dr. Friedrich Hausmann joined the Berlin office of K&L Gates as a a partner in in 2009. Dr. Hausmann concentrates his practice in public procurement, privitisation and PPP as well as antitrust, competition and trade work.  His work includes representing clients before the procurement review bodies set up in Germany, the competition authorities and national and European courts.  He is recommended for his public procurement work in the JUVE handbook of commercial law firms and Chambers.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates LLP Dr. Hausmann served as a Partner in a major international law firm in Brussels and Berlin.

Qualified as a lawyer in 1996.

Speaking Engagements

Dr. Hausmann is an editor of EPPL (European Public Private Partnership Law Review) and a regular correspondent to Vergaberecht (Public Procurement). He is a member of the advisory group to the eGovernment Computing journal. He is an editor and author of Beck’sches Formularbuch Vergaberecht and Beck’sches PPP-Handbuch as well as an author in numerous articles in handbooks, commentaries and publications on public procurement, PPP and antitrust law.
