  • Acting for a large construction engineering company in the New South Wales Court of Appeal in relation to defective and incomplete civil earthworks by a subcontractor.
  • Advising a major airport in relation to delayed and defective works by a head contractor.
  • Advising an international EPC principal in its multimillion dollar dispute with the EPC Contractor in QLD,
  • Advising an international EPC Contractor in respect of liquidated damages claims on a SA Project;
  • Advising an international EPC Contractor in respect of a subcontractor's charge brought in relation to a QLD Project.
  • Acting for a global façade manufacturer in its multimillion dollar arbitration against John Holland in respect of a major Western Australian PPP Project.
  • Acting for a large residential aged care provider in [successfully] defending a Security of Payment claim by a head contractor under a design and construct contract.
  • Acting for a large Australian builder in NSW Supreme Court proceedings commenced by two owners corporations
  • Acting for a global façade manufacturer in its multimillion dollar arbitration against John Holland in respect of a major Western Australian PPP Project.

  • Advising on the liability of various consultants and builders in respect of banned combustible cladding.
  • Advising a global infrastructure technology leader in respect of its ongoing payment issues with a head contractor in relation to the supply of goods for a renewable energy project in QLD.
  • Advising a head contractor in respect of a subcontractor's failure to meet contractual obligations and milestones in relation to the construction and commissioning of a renewable energy project in QLD.
  • Assisting in Security of Payment Training sessions for clients in a range of industries, including financiers, developers, aged-care providers, EPC principals and contractors.
  • Briefing experts to provide independent expert opinions in respect of defects claims, variation claims, acceleration claims and costs to rectify and complete.
  • Drafting and amending Australian Standard and bespoke construction contracts, including Design & Construct, Construct Only and Construction Management.
