Mr. Stevenson’s practice is an outgrowth of his continued interest in and commitment to helping individuals and families create sensible plans for reducing tax and probate exposure. Solutions involve a variety of trust instruments, wills, durable powers of attorney, medical directives and living wills.

Professional Background

New challenges and opportunities for the estate planning attorney are constantly emerging due to the rapid changes in our tax, medicaid and related laws. Mr. Stevenson has successfully completed four graduate courses in Boston University Law School's graduate tax program; course work that supplements his understanding of the law as it evolves and the impact those changes have on his clients.

Professional/Civic Activities

Mr. Stevenson was elected a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel in 1987. Long a member of the Probate Committees of the Boston Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association, he served as the Secretary of each Committee for approximately six years.
