Heather Bethancourt’s practice focuses on outsourcing, technology, and telecommunications transactions. Her experience includes representing clients in information technology and business process outsourcing transactions with an emphasis on human resources issues in such transactions. In addition, she represents clients in strategic supply agreements, manufacturing and distribution agreements, technology licensing, trademark licensing, technology maintenance and service agreements, technology development, software as a services (SaaS) arrangements, and strategic alliances. She also advises clients on technology and intellectual property issues that arise under other corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Prior to attending law school, Heather worked for six years with an employment services firm negotiating and managing employee outsourcing relationships with information technology and manufacturing companies.
