Henry M. Pogorzelski

Henry Pogorzelski is a partner and he is a member of the IP Litigation practice and is also a registered patent attorney. Henry focuses on litigation and counseling relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and Internet domain name rights. Henry regularly litigates and counsels clients in a wide range of technologies, including immersion cooling for electronic devices, electronic communications, ecommerce, exercise machines, oilfield services, semiconductor processes and design, medical devices, and chemical processes.

In addition, Henry represents both brand owners and resellers in trademark and design patent disputes involving third party sellers on leading ecommerce platforms, and he has defended accused infringers in so-called “Schedule A” cases filed in the Southern District of Florida and in the Northern District of Illinois. Henry has significant experience litigating complex trademark matters before the TTAB and in federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Henry served as a principal at a mid-sized intellectual property law firm where he focused his practice on intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution, as well as on counseling on patents, trademarks and unfair competition, copyrights, and trade secrets. Previous to that, Henry co-founded a small intellectual property boutique law firm specializing in patent litigation in the patent-friendly Eastern District of Texas. He began his legal career as an intellectual property litigation associate with the law firm of Arnold, White & Durkee in Houston, Texas.

Henry began his professional career as a chemical engineer working in the Basic Chemical Division of Exxon Chemical Company in Baytown, Texas.
