Hal Frampton practices in the area of employment and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Frampton served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and to the Honorable Louis H. Pollak of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

While in law school, Mr. Frampton served as Managing Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law.

Mr. Frampton regularly advises and represents clients in the following matters:

  • EEOC/South Carolina Human Affairs Commission proceedings involving race, sex, national origin, age, and disability discrimination claims
  • Harassment, hostile work environment, disparate impact, and retaliation claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1991, the ADA, the ADEA, FEPA, and Section 1981
  • Employee benefits claims and leave claims arising under the FMLA
  • Wrongful discharge, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, and other claims arising out of the employer/employee relationship
  • Protections of creditors’ rights in foreclosure proceedings
  • Misappropriation and use of trade secrets and other intellectual property disputes
  • Unfair trade practices, conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business tort claims
