Hilary Bowman is an associate in the firm’s Research Triangle Park office, where she focuses exclusively on health law. Ms. Bowman advises health care providers on structuring physician and vendor arrangements to comply with the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute. She conducts due diligence and drafts transaction documents for acquisitions of various types of health care providers. She also advises health care providers and pharmaceutical companies on compliance with registration and reporting requirements under the Controlled Substances Act. Ms. Bowman created and produces the health care practice group’s podcast Triage: Rapid Legal Lessons for Busy Health Care Professionals.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bowman was an associate in the Raleigh office of a national law firm for three years in a regulatory and transactional health care practice. Ms. Bowman also previously served as a law clerk to administrative law judges at the U.S. Department of Justice - Drug Enforcement Administration. Before attending law school, Ms. Bowman worked as a senior analyst for Sg2, which is a health care intelligence, analytics, and consulting firm.
