James Sargent is counsel in the firm’s Dallas office. He has extensive legal, financial and business experience, serving major institutional clients. He represents borrowers and lenders in connection with multiple types of loan facilities and secured transactions, including commercial loans, asset-based loans, and real estate acquisition and development loans. Mr. Sargent also has represented creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings and negotiations involving analyses of cash flows, liquidation values, going-concern values, debtor-in-possession financings, chapter 11 reorganizations, and confirmation plans.
