Ms. Lim is an associate in the litigation and dispute resolution practice. She primarily handles complex commercial matters including breaches of shareholder agreements, breaches of directors’ duties, breaches of fiduciary duties and conspiracy, which frequently involve forensic investigations and expert evidence.

She has also handled tort law disputes and public and administrative law disputes, some of which have reached the Court of Appeal.

Her practice also frequently involves applying for or resisting commercial injunctions such as Mareva injunctions, Springboard injunctions, injunctions to restrain the sale of shares and injunctions to prevent the removal of company directors.

Ms. Lim also has experience in conducting domestic and international arbitrations and in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice area.

  • Acted for a company in an appeal to the Minister of Communications and Information against sanctions imposed by the Infocomm Media Development Authority.
  • Acted for an individual in a criminal motion before the Court of Appeal pursuant to the Attorney General’s Chambers’ refusal to disclose two statements made by the individual.
  • Acted for a company in an assessment of damages hearing due to breaches arising from the 2013 penny stock crash.
  • Acted an individual before the High Court and Court of Appeal in a tort law claim against his neighbours arising from the damage caused to his property in the course of his neighbours’ demolition works.
