Arias Lim Jie

Arias Lim is a senior associate in the litigation and dispute resolution practice. She has handled complex commercial disputes before all levels of the Singapore Courts and acted in SIAC, ICC, LCIA, and ad hoc arbitrations.

In her litigation practice, Arias focuses on matters involving breaches of shareholder agreements, breaches of directors’ duties, and conspiracy. She frequently handles matters involving elements of fraud, and is well-versed in handling expert evidence (forensic and financial) and in applying for all types of commercial injunctions. Her clients include banks, auditors, and other institutional clients.

Arias also handles a wide variety of commercial arbitrations, including energy disputes, shareholder disputes, and hotel management disputes. She has acted for states, oil and gas companies, hotel owners, pharmaceutical companies, and a wide variety of other companies in arbitrations seated in Singapore, London, New York, and Zurich. 

Given her experience in working across Singapore, Paris, and London, Arias is adept at handling transnational disputes which involve parallel litigation and arbitration proceedings in different jurisdictions.

Prior to the merger of K&L Gates and Straits Law LLC, Arias was an associate at Straits Law Practice LLC, having joined the firm in 2015.
