Mr. Hutchins concentrates his practice in banking and commercial finance.  He has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide variety of asset-based finance, unsecured lending and other corporate finance transactions, including revolving, term and bridge financings, committed and uncommitted credit facilities, both secured and unsecured, for mutual funds and hedge funds, commercial paper conduit financings, bullion and commodity finance, letter of credit facilities and tax-exempt bond financings. 

He has worked with many types of letters of credit, negotiable instruments and other financial documents and bank deposit and collection matters.  He also has many years of experience in creditors' rights, bankruptcy and corporate reorganization matters, including loan workouts and debt restructurings, and he has extensive experience with the negotiation and preparation of commercial contracts and resolution of commercial disputes.  He has represented numerous commercial banks, asset based lenders, thrift institutions, mutual funds, hedge funds and various other financial organizations.

Speaking Engagements

Mr. Hutchins writes and lectures extensively in the areas of corporate reorganization, asset-based finance, commercial transactions and bankruptcy and has chaired expert faculties at seminars on bankruptcy reorganizations, fraudulent conveyances, highly leveraged transactions and resolving non-performing loans.
