John Gavin is an associate at the firm’s Boston office. He is a member of the complex commercial litigation and disputes practice group.

Professional Background

As a summer associate for the firm, Mr. Gavin assisted in drafting pleadings for the intellectual property, commercial disputes, and financial services groups, aided in drafting a client update on trade secret law trends, and collaborated on treatise updates. Most recently, Mr. Gavin was a law practice teaching assistant at Boston College Law School, where he conducted workshops and held office hours to aid students in the development of research and citation skills. Mr. Gavin also served as a member of the Executive Board of the Boston College Law Review, managing the drafting and publication of student-written Case Comments as Executive Comments Editor.
