Professional Background

Mr. McClendon is a former IT project manager in the higher education and software industries and spent 10 years managing enterprise support and technology initiatives. After retraining as an attorney, Mr. McClendon maintains a practice in technology transactions, privacy and data security, and intellectual property. Mr. McClendon’s rich background in technology allows him to support his clients’ technology driven projects and to resolve issues that distract clients from understanding the benefits of a technology strengthened core business mission. In addition to his practice in technology transactions, Mr. McClendon helps companies develop robust information security and data privacy policies and procedures and disaster recovery and business continuity plans and counsels companies to achieve compliance with local and international data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McClendon served as a senior associate for an American law firm.
