K&L Gates Again Ranked Among Top 10 U.S. Law Firm Brands

New York - K&L Gates LLP has been recognized among the 10 strongest U.S. law firm brands for a second consecutive year, according to legal market research company Acritas’ U.S. Law Firm Brand Index 2016, released today. K&L Gates has been ranked among Acritas’ top U.S. law firm brands since the index began in 2012, with the firm first moving into the top 10 in 2015.
“In our business, brand rankings are a function of client service and strategic positioning,” said Peter J. Kalis, K&L Gates’ Chairman and Global Managing Partner. “We deeply appreciate this vote of confidence of the client community.”
This year’s rankings were based on the unprompted responses of nearly 800 senior counsel and decision makers at U.S. companies and abroad on topics that included top-of-mind awareness; favorability; consideration of firms for top-level litigation and major M&A matters; and overall level of use.
The honor continues a string of noteworthy rankings for the firm in terms of both brand equity and client service, with K&L Gates in December also having been recognized for a second straight year among the top 10 law firms for client service excellence in the 2016 BTI Client Service 30 survey. K&L Gates is one of only six firms to rank in that survey’s top 10 in each of the past two years.
