Lauren Perry is an associate in the firm’s New York office and was formerly an associate in the Harrisburg office. She focuses her practice on health care law. She advises clients in a variety of regulatory, transactional and litigation matters, including:

  • compliance with federal and state fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA and state privacy laws, licensure requirements, corporate practice of medicine issues, ACA requirements, and Medicare and Medicaid rules;
  • due diligence and regulatory compliance in health care mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations;
  • administrative appeals for healthcare providers facing licensing and reimbursement issues;
  • advice on emerging healthcare technologies and expansion of non-health care providers into the health care area.

Ms. Perry is also a member of the K&L Gates Cyber Civil Rights team, which helps victims of nonconsensual pornography by providing them legal assistance on a pro bono basis.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Perry served as a law clerk at the Baltimore City Law Department. She also worked as a legal intern for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in the Attorney General Office of Maryland.
