Ms. Davis is of counsel in the firm’s Dallas office. She is a skilled tax attorney focusing on tax planning involving trusts and estates. She has considerable experience drafting a variety of estate planning documents and handling issues involving the Internal Revenue Service. She assists clients in probate matters, fiduciary litigation, the creation and administration of various business entities, transfer tax planning and marital property issues. She also assists clients with charitable planning.

Ms. Davis is Board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Davis was clerk to the Hon. Robert C. McGuire, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Dallas. Prior to law school, Ms. Davis was controller for Inovest, Inc., and a tax consultant with Ernst & Whinney and Cole & Reed, P.C. in Oklahoma City.
