Lori Steidl is a staff attorney with K&L Gates' e-discovery analysis and technology (e-DAT) group. Ms. Steidl advises clients and provides project management and supervision to technical and legal teams at all phases of the discovery process - including data preservation, collection, processing and filtering, strategic case assessment, review, production, and post production litigation support.

During her tenure at the firm, Ms. Steidl has managed document analysis and review projects on a wide variety of matters including complex commercial litigation, government investigations, HSR second requests, international arbitrations, bankruptcy matters, public records act requests, contract disputes, employment discrimination and wrongful termination, patent infringement, consumer class actions, and public nuisance cases. Ms. Steidl is actively involved in K&L Gates’ e-DAT group's ongoing development and application of advanced technology in handling client discovery and litigation support needs.

Professional Background

Lori graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in sociology and Norwegian. She studied law at the University of Washington School of Law and at the University of Oslo. Lori earned her juris doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, where she also served as notes and comments editor for the Washington Law Review. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Washington.
