Mary Louden is an associate in the Private Clients, Trusts and Estates group in the firm’s Seattle office.
Ms. Louden’s practice covers a broad range of tax issues, including estate planning; trust and estate administration; charitable giving; and gift, estate, generation-skipping, income, and property tax planning for individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations.
Ms. Louden advises clients on all matters related to transmitting wealth from one generation to the next in a manner that minimizes taxes and emphasizes the personal goals of the family members for transition of wealth. She is committed to bringing value by offering creative, timely, and strategic advice to help clients create estate plans that address each client’s specific needs.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Louden was an estate planning associate at a San Jose, California law firm. She has particular experience in all areas of estate planning, with regards to both tax and non-tax concerns; charitable gift planning; income, gift, estate, and generation skipping tax planning; and business succession planning. She also has experience drafting wills, living trusts, complex trusts, charitable trusts, insurance trusts, entity documents, and other ancillary documents.
