Melissa Nist is an associate in the firm's Anchorage office.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Nist practiced as an associate in an Anchorage firm, where she focused on commercial litigation issues, from drafting motions, discovery and participating in all aspects of trial, to negotiating settlements and appearing at depositions, client interviews, and mediations. She has represented clients in various actions involving breach of contract, construction, employment, and municipal law, and currently devotes roughly fifty percent of her time to advising clients on commercial real estate and mining transactions.
