Min Wu has experience in patent litigation and patent prosecution. He has a master’s degree in physics.

Mr. Wu’s litigation experience includes representing smartphone manufacturers, computer design and manufacturing companies, battery manufacturer, consumer robotics companies and other technology companies in various actions in federal courts, before the U.S. International Trade Commission, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Wu has experience with all stages of patent litigation, including fact discovery, expert discovery, motions practice, and trial. He regularly works with experts to develop case themes and strategies, including non-infringement and invalidity strategies. He has experience taking and defending expert and fact witness depositions, preparing expert reports, and drafting Markman briefs and dispositive motions. He has been a regular member of trial teams.

Mr. Wu also assists clients with procuring and managing patent portfolios in semiconductor manufacturing processes, telecommunication technologies, and medical devices, among others.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wu worked at two law firms in Beijing, China, where he prepared and prosecuted patent applications for a range of technologies including semiconductors, electronics, telecommunications, and Internet.

  • Certain Robotic Vacuum Cleaning Devices and Components Thereof Such as Spare Parts, and Products Containing Same, Inv. No. 337-TA-1057 (USITC) - Represented Respondents Matsutek and BISSELL; settlement reached during expert discovery.
  • Certain Document Cameras and Software for Use Therewith, Inv. No. 337-TA-1045 (USITC) - Represented Respondents IPEVO and AVer; Complainant withdrew case before hearing without settlement.
  • Certain Personal Transporters and Components Thereof. Inv. No. 337-TA-1007/1021 (USITC) - Represented Respondent Airwheel; trial victory against Segway finding no violation, upheld by the Commission.

  • Alacritech Inc. v. Wistron Corp. et al., 2:16-cv-692 (E.D. Tex.) - Representing Wistron in patent infringement case involving network acceleration technology; case stayed pending resolution of IPRs.
  • Infogation Corp. v. ZTE (USA), Inc., 3:16-cv-1901 (S.D. Cal.) - Represented ZTE; Plaintiff dismissed case with prejudice without settlement.
  • Mobile Synergy Solutions, LLC v. Coolpad Group Ltd. et al., 6:16-cv-1223 (E.D. Tex.) - Represented Coolpad in patent case involving visual voice mail; settlement reached.
  • Uniloc USA, Inc. et al. v. ZTE (USA), Inc. et al., 2:16-cv-993 (E.D. Tex.) - Representing ZTE in patent infringement action involving text/voice instant messaging; case stayed pending resolution of IPRs.
