K&L Gates Expands Palo Alto Office with Addition of Two Intellectual Property Litigators

Palo Alto — The Palo Alto office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Karineh Khachatourian and Bryan J. Sinclair as partners in the firm's intellectual property litigation practice. They join K&L Gates from Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo P.C.

Khachatourian has extensive experience representing a wide range of technology companies throughout the Silicon Valley and the United States. Concentrating on patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, trade secret disputes, inventorship and ownership issues, she has handled disputes involving computer software and hardware, silicon wafer inspection, integrated circuit simulation tools, LCD technology, and related consumer electronics. Khachatourian currently serves as president of the Women’s Intellectual Property Lawyers Association.

With a practice focused on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation and enforcement, Sinclair also has considerable experience representing Silicon Valley companies in jurisdictions throughout the United States. He has obtained successful results in numerous IP matters involving technologies that range from server load balancing, integrated circuit design, and semiconductor wafer inspection, to biochemical compounds and medical devices, as well as in disputes involving Web-based technology development, source code copyright infringement, and a variety of design patent matters.
