Nicholas Nahum is an associate in the firm’s Seattle office.

Mr. Nahum’s practice focuses on advising clients involved in the construction, development, design, and operation of construction projects, including commercial construction projects, renewable energy, and oil and gas facilities.

He is well acquainted with matters relating to contract drafting and negotiation, contract administration, contract risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. He has experience with a broad range of construction contracts, including EPC, equipment supply, warranty, O&M, and ESCO agreements.

Mr. Nahum also counsels construction and energy clients in a variety of technology law matters, including smart metering, privacy, and data security issues.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Nahum was a corporate legal intern at a Seattle-based Fortune 500 company and served as an APR Rule 9 extern for the Tacoma-Pierce County Housing Justice Project. He was a K&L Gates summer associate in 2015.

Professional/Civic Activities

Mr. Nahum volunteers his time as the Aloha Inn Pro Bono Legal Clinic Co-Coordinator and maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes assisting low-income individuals with eviction related matters and asylum seekers in immigration proceedings.
