Paul E. Del Vecchio

Paul Del Vecchio is a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, including insurance coverage litigation and counseling. He has been involved in asbestos and environmental insurance coverage cases in numerous jurisdictions. He has substantial experience litigating on behalf of policyholders in cases involving Underwriters at Lloyd’s, London and London Market Insurance Companies. He has handled numerous insurance matters involving first-party property losses.  In addition, he has substantial experience in handling policyholder claims with insolvent London Market and domestic insurance companies. Paul has also had significant involvement in litigating general commercial cases, including RICO securities fraud class action suits, commercial mortgage foreclosure proceedings, replevin actions and tax credit matters.

Paul has practiced in the commercial disputes resolution practice area and its insurance coverage practice group since his graduation from law school in 1993. He has served on both the hiring committee and associate development committee for the firm’s Pittsburgh office, and has served as the mentoring coordinator for the Pittsburgh office’s mentoring program for new lawyers.
