Mr. Davis is a senior litigation partner in K&L Gates’ Anchorage office. He successfully handles a wide variety of civil matters, including complex tort, medical malpractice defense, professional liability, product liability, business litigation, premises liability and construction law claims. Mr. Davis’ practice includes appointment as a mediator and arbiter in cases involving business disputes, tort, professional liability, employment and construction claims. He has represented businesses and individuals before many state and federal administrative agencies.
During his more than 37 years of practicing in Alaska in the field of employment law and litigation, Mr. Davis was lead counsel in Alaska’s first reported class action sexual discrimination case; lead counsel in Alaska’s first reported age discrimination case; lead counsel in Alaska’s first employment claim retaliation case; and lead counsel in Alaska’s first reported sexual harassment case. He has counseled private and public clients in all aspects of employment law and litigation. His practice is now focused solely on the representation of employers.

Paul has presented on a number of legal topics, including employment, environmental law, construction law, tort law, trial practice and alternative dispute resolution. He has spoken before such groups as the Associated General Contractors of Alaska, the Alaska Bar Association, Federal Publications, NBI (National Business Institute), LSI (Law Seminars, Inc.), the Federal Aviation Administration, The American Society of Military Engineers, the Alaska Underground Tank Owners Association, the Alaska Truck Owners and Operators Association, as well as several management and personnel industry associations.
