Piotr Moskała is an Associate in the firm’s Warsaw office working in the Capital Markets department. His practice includes mergers & acquisitions and financing. He has experience in preparing transactional documentation (M&A, credit facility agreements) and documents related to current operations of commercial companies. He participated in projects related to transformations of companies and reorganization of corporate groups, as well as due diligence analyses.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Piotr Moskała gained experience during internships at Warsaw offices of several international law firms (corporate and banking & finance departments), as well as at a non-profit organization.

Additional Information

Piotr Moskała is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In 2012 he attended Italian and European Law School which was held by the University of Warsaw and the University of Catania, Italy. In 2012 and 2013 he participated in the LLP Erasmus exchange program at the University of Padua, Italy. He also holds a B.A. degree in linguistics (Italian philology).

  • Advising one of the largest banks in Poland on an acquisition of another bank (transaction’s structure planning in corporate and regulatory aspects and preparing transactional documentation) and participating in the due diligence analysis of the target.
  • Advising one of the largest corporate groups in Poland in connection with the implementation of cooperation agreements regarding the management of intragroup finance.
  • Advising companies from the energy and financial sectors on reorganization of their corporate groups and regulatory issues.
  • Advising a listed company on the potential transformation into a Societas Europaea.
  • Advising credit institutions on restructuring of their assets and transformations in their corporate groups for accounting and tax purposes.
  • Participating in a team representing a shareholder in a corporate litigation case (in corporate aspect).
