Ms. Diakos is a partner in the litigation group. Her practice involves the representation of individuals and corporations in a broad range of general civil and commercial litigations. Ms. Diakos' practice includes intellectual property litigation, trademark prosecution, trademark counseling, trade secret litigation, and securities litigation. Ms. Diakos has assisted in the representation of clients at trial as well as at numerous hearings, including preliminary injunction hearings. She has also assisted in representing clients before the NASD and SEC.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Diakos was an associate with a large New York based international law firm. There, she focused on representing the SIPC Trustee in all aspects of a broker-dealer liquidation, including in adversary proceedings against third parties alleging breaches of fiduciary duties, negligence and fraud.
Ms. Diakos is active in several K&L Gates Committees, serving on the New York office’s Associate Liaison and Pro Bono Committees.
