Areas of Practice
Mr. McConnell is a partner in the Firm. His practice has included transportation law, corporate finance, commercial banking, public securities issues, and oil and gas matters. He is also engaged in public law matters, including public-private partnerships and infrastructure finance.
Professional Background
Mr. McConnell was an associate and then a partner at K&L Gates from 1978 to 1993. From 1993 through 1995 he served as Chief Counsel of the Federal Highway Administration after which he returned to the Firm as a partner.
